Introduction

Foundleap is a product of EightWave Lab LLC, based in New York, USA. Foundleap is built for founders who are already overwhelmed. The last thing you need is a privacy policy that adds to that. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it — in plain language.

By using this website, joining our waitlist, contacting us, or purchasing any of our digital products, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who This Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors of foundleap.com, anyone who joins our waitlist, submits a contact form, or purchases digital products through our Gumroad store at foundleap.gumroad.com.

When the Foundleap app launches publicly, a separate section will be added covering user account data. We'll let you know before anything changes.

2. What We Collect

We only collect what we actually need.

When you join the waitlist:
Name and email address. That's it. We use this to send you launch updates and Founding Member information.

When you contact us:
Your name, email, the reason for your message, and whatever you write in the message field. We use this to respond to you.

When you purchase a digital product on Gumroad:
Gumroad handles the transaction and collects payment information directly. We receive your name, email, and purchase details. We do not store your payment data — Gumroad does, under their own privacy policy.

When you visit the website:
Framer, our website platform, may collect standard analytics data such as page views, browser type, and general location. We use this to understand how people are finding and using the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

3. What We Don't Do

We will never sell your data. We will never share your email with third parties for marketing purposes. We will never send you anything you didn't sign up for.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only for the following:

To send you waitlist updates and Founding Member communications, to respond to messages you send us, to fulfill digital product purchases, and to improve the website and product based on general usage patterns.

5. Third-Party Platforms

Foundleap uses a small number of trusted third-party platforms to operate:

Framer hosts this website and may collect standard analytics. Visit framer.com/legal for their privacy terms.

Gumroad processes all digital product transactions. Visit gumroad.com/privacy for their policy.

GetWaitlist manages our waitlist. Visit getwaitlist.com for their privacy terms.

Facebook / Meta hosts our Women Who Leap community group. If you join, Meta's privacy policy applies to your activity there.

Instagram and TikTok are platforms we use to share content. Following or interacting with us there is governed by their respective policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party platform. We choose platforms we trust, but encourage you to review their policies independently.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as it's needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for. If you ask us to delete your data, we will — just email us and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of where you're located, you have the right to know what data we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at foundleap@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This website may use basic cookies through Framer for functionality and analytics. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will still work.

9. Children's Privacy

Foundleap is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

As Foundleap grows — particularly when the app and paid tiers launch — this policy will be updated to reflect new data practices. We'll update the "Last updated" date and notify waitlist members of any significant changes.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.

Questions?

Privacy stuff can feel murky. If anything here is unclear, email us at foundleap@gmail.com. We're real people and we take this seriously.
